  1. Orphan Black Visual Recap: Ipsa Scientia Potestas

    Recap

Last week on BBC America's Orphan Black we had fun with texts, clone hugs, and dirty business. This week...there was A LOT of dirty business. Check out the visual recaps with far too many movie and TV references than necessary.

  2. Gorgeous Superhero Watercolors To Class Up Your Living Space

Why Not Do It With Some Style?

Only some of these paintings are available to purchase as prints on artist Blule's website, but she does also have a print of Little Red Riding Hood where the hood is the wolf's corpse. I feel the need to point that out, because... Little Red Riding Hood where the hood is the wolf's corpse. C'mon. Never has a watercolor been so metal.

  3. Incredibly Realistic Game of Thrones & Tomb Raider Cosplayers Look Like They Jumped Right Out Of Your TV Screen

    Fans Do Cool Things

Wow. Wow. Wow. I'm a big supporter of anyone cosplaying any character they love but there's something to be said for an individual realizing they look oddly similar to an actor and running with it. So is the case for cosplayers Trine Ericzon, aka Santatory (as Game of Thrones' Margaery Tyrell) and Tara Cash (as the most recent incarnation of Lara Croft, Tomb Raider).

  5. We Moss Say, We’ve Taken A Lichen To These Geeky Terrariums

In Which We Make A Terrible Pun

I like home decor that makes guests do a double take. At first glance, you see a typical coffee table item, but upon further inspection, there's a little something for geeks in the know. Etsy shop Moss Love Terrariums deals in such goods. Made by Jacie Anderson-Coovert, these frond-filled vignettes feature some pop culture favorites. Click through for a small crop of them.

  7. Disney Characters As Star Wars Villains Are Scum and Villainy Squared

Things to Do With Your Kids

Dennis Culver created this series of Disney baddies as Star Wars baddies for Moviefone, and I love all the little details he put in. Oh, and I also love that the Darth Vader/Scar mashup is named "Scarth Vader." Thumbs up on that one.

  8. Gotham Character Art Has a Lot of People Dressed In Monochrome Looking Broody

    I Am The Night

Man, that's some tragic gravitas li'l Bruce Wayne is rocking there. I'd say he's hauntingly intense. Is it ever going to stop being hilarious that those were the phrases used by a Gotham casting call and early official synopsis to describe 12-year-old Bruce Wayne? No. No it is not. The bad guys in this set of posters are the only ones who look like they're having anything resembling good time, and I appreciate that. It fits. But God help me if I become in any way attracted to the Penguin. I'm just saying it's a danger at this point. I know, I know.

The latest episode of Orphan Black may not have been as action-packed as the last few but it sure did deliver on the awesome, didn't it?

  10. Wondy the Riveter, and The Rest of DC Comics’ Gorgeous Bombshell Variant Covers

    Great Hera!

DC Comics has released all of its variant covers for June, on the theme of nineteen-fifties style bombshell posters featuring its major female characters, from Arisia to Zatanna and Mera and Lois Lane in between. The drawings and designs are lovely, and some are even already being pushed to posters, prints, and statues. Still, I agree with DCWKA when I say: why couldn't we get some dude bombshells? Where's Nightwing? Where's Lobo? Where's the Martian Manhunter and his barely-there costume?
