Help Teal Sherer Make Another Season Of My Gimpy Life! [VIDEO]

I already thought Teal Sherer was pretty cool before we met in person at GeekGirlCon last year. Most know her best from her role as Venom in The Guild but Sherer had ideas for her own web series and it was something a bit more personal. My Gimpy Life is a comedy based around her real experiences working in Hollywood as a performer with a disability. Season 1 was fantastic, had guest-stars like Felicia Day talking about sci-fi erotica, and won a bunch of awards and accolades. (Check out the entire first season of My Gimpy Life here.) The last we heard from Sherer was an adorable Charlie Brown-inspired holiday greeting but now she’s looking to fund Season 2 of My Gimpy Life and needs your help! Take a look at her plea video then head on over to Kickstarter to pledge!

Dr. Horrible Actors and Writers (Including Nathan Fillion) Livetweeted its TV Debut

Last night marked the television debut of Joss Whedon‘s Dr. Horrible, and while I think it’s safe to say that the majority of its target audience had already seen it once or five times, it airing on TV is still pretty cool.

Not as cool, though, as the fact that stars Nathan Fillion and Felicia Day, as well as writers Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen, livetweeted the West coast viewing. (Where were you, Neil Patrick Harris?!) Fillion fans, please note: He doesn’t like it when you yell “The hammer is my penis” at him in the street.
