The Force is strong with this book.

That's no action figure; it's a comic book cover! It's the action figure variant for Marvel's Star Wars #1 by John Tyler Christopher, to be precise—an elegant cover for a more civilized age. (via CBR)

To promote the extended edition DVD of Dragon Ball Z: Battle of the Gods is coming out soon, FUNimation put out this peek inside the recording booth as voice actors for the English dub work on a intense fight sequence. 11. 10 Ways To Become Immortal

    Power Grid

What’s to explain? Immortality. You want it. No, don’t give me any of that crap about living longer than your loved ones or statistically if you can’t die than eventually you’re certain to get trapped in a situation where you wish you could. The human race wants to live forever. Somehow. This is why we have anti aging cream, children, art, and religion.

  12. Dragon Ball Z‘s American Voice Actors Talk. Well. Mostly Scream.

We're always tickled by behind-the-scenes videos of the people who give voices to our favorite animated characters. There's something about watching human people trying to get as close to a cartoon as they possibly can that we find simultaneously funny and endearing. Here, we have the cast of Dragon Ball Z, screaming with all their might to bring you the most entertaining animated program they can. We're frankly kind of surprised they still have voices after all the screaming the have to do. (via Reddit)

    Power Grid

A certain imminent movie release got us thinking about Nazis, and how, unusually, for an actual historical movement, they've developed into the kind of perfect narrative scapegoat that's normally reserved for entities of entirely fictional origin. 15. Tonight! The Premiere of Dragon Ball Z Kai: DBZ Without all the Filler

The first Americanized episode of Dragon Ball Z Kai airs tonight at 8 PM Eastern Time on the Nicktoons Network.

The word Kai in this title means something along the lines of "revisited."  DBZ Kai is basically Dragon Ball Z with all of the filler cut out.

Yes, you heard me.  A DBZ that doesn't crawl along at the pace of a dazed tortoise: half flash backs, and half characters yelling at each other in lieu of plot development.
