One of the worst parts of the current gaming landscape is the plethora of options given when placing a pre-order. It's increasingly become standard operating procedure to provide different doodads to each and every retailer in order to try and convince consumers to buy from them. This kind of thinking saw Dragon Age: Origins filled to the brim with these kind of promotional items, and even Dragon Age II had content only available through pre-order. Now, nearly two years after the release of the last game, BioWare has made it possible to unlock all of these items and more.
Dragon Age II
Game Informer has gotten its lucky, lucky hands on a batch of screenshots from Dragon Age II, which we learned last week is officially going to happen. Magazine subscribers have already been able to check the pics out in this month's issue, but two of them are now available online to people who are not dirty pirates. Thoughts?
Today it was announced that Dragon Age II is going to happen, and while people are generally happy, nobody is surprised by that news. But as we get into the specifics of the sequel, there may be some room for astonishment. Nothing is displayed in detail, of course, but it seems like almost every aspect of the game is getting at least a bit of a reboot. The game's official website, which has now launched, has some details that go over just how big the changes are going to be between Origins and the upcoming sequel.
