Hark! Some Bloopers From Community Season Three

Oh Comic-Con, the wonders you bring us! So many, in fact, that the delights of this Community gag reel almost slipped past our notice. Woe would we have been if it had, though. Community bloopers rank among our favorite DVD features of all time, so getting them before the DVD release is a treat we didn’t expect. We would’ve missed Alison Brie demonstrating her rapping abilities, some inappropriate groping, and Chevy Chase inadvertently inventing some strangely visual slang. Oh, and we get to watch Danny Pudi and Alison Brie run around in their Inspector Spacetime costumes. The question is not if, readers, but when you will enjoy this video.

Yes. Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes. Yes.

After Trying Anime, Community Will Now Become a Video Game

The Hollywood Reporter was given exclusive shots of Community‘s season finale — and they are in the style of 16-bit video games! The show’s third season ends tomorrow night with three episodes, with one last foray into glorious geekery. My only question is if this has something to do with the dreamatorium, or have Troy and Abed just officially lost their minds completely.

But now, Glover has revealed that the spirit of that campaign lives on and will actually materialize in some shape or form in The Amazing Spider-Man. Yes, you heard that right — Donald Glover, or at least something related to him, will make it into Spidey.

Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man Announcement: Could Spidey Be African-American?

An announcement by Marvel concerning Ultimate Spider-Man is coming tonight, and there is a lot of speculation that Spidey’s alter ego could be African-American. As we all know, Peter Parker died in Issue #160, leaving room for a new hero to take his place. And what with the really fun Twitter campaign to consider casting comedian Donald Glover as Spidey (pictured above), it’s possible that a light bulb went off in someone’s head that this might be a really good idea. Could there be a racist backlash? Yeah, probably. Oh wait, there was one? Ucccccchh. Well, here we go.

10 Geeks Who Turned Geekdom Into Comedy Gold

Some might say that most comedians were some form of nerd or geek. Insecurity tends to breed comedy, usually when the target of a joke wants to beat someone else to the punch. But how many comedians have truly, honestly held on to the geekiest parts of their lives and then turned it into amazing comedy material? Only the best of the best. In honor of April Fools Day, this week’s Power Grid takes a look at 10 geek comedians who had the last laugh and have been voted “Most Likely to Make a Reference to Something You’ll Have to Google.”
