Holy Rusted Metal Batman!

Disney Meets DC Comics For A Haunted Mansion Crossover

“Haunted Arkham Asylum” was a piece put together by DeviantArtist ArtistAbe. It parodies Disney’s Haunted Mansion stretch portraits originally illustrated by Marc Davis and reproduced by Clem Hill. We have to admit, ArtistAbe chose wisely when replacing the characters with Batman and his Rogues Gallery. Also? Not sure I could handle a Haunted Arkham Asylum ride…

Here’s a video of one of them filmed at Epcot Center but soon, she’ll head to the Magic Kingdom. According to Orlando’s Attractions Magazine, ” In a couple of weeks she’ll start appearing in the Fairytale Garden in Fantasyland, where guests will engage in archery lessons and other activities until it’s their turn to meet her. Joining Merida will be the three bear cubs from the film, who will also interact with guests.” Hit the jump for yet another castmember taking on Merida. The hair, my god, the hair!

People Are Turning Their Backyards Into Tiny Disney Parks

This is going to become a thing: turning one’s backyard into a miniature Disney park. HGTV is promoting a new show called Our Yard Went Disney, in which family’s redecorate their backyards to resemble small, Disney-themed amusement parks complete with rides. This means that my dream of a Haunted Mansion exterior, Mad Tea Party breakfast nook, and Jungle Cruise backyard is finally possible. A dream is a wish your heart makes!
