It was already against YouTube policy for users to monetize videos that contain copyrighted content, but YouTube's recent copyright changes have given copyright holders the ability to flag copyrighted. Some problems with the new system have shown themselves, but it's not as though YouTube is unaware that newly implemented systems need work.

  3. Remember When Deep Silver Apologized For Selling A Woman’s Dismembered Body With Dead Island? They’re Still Selling It.

  5. Deep Silver Goes Off Deep End, Promotes Dead Island With Severed Torso Statue

There's really no good way to say this, or even approach the topic, but here goes: Deep Silver, the folks publishing Techland's Dead Island: Riptide, decided it'd be a good idea to include a severed female torso as a statuette in the video game's "Zombie Bait" edition. Yeah. Including a statuette that's literally just a pair of tits and gore... That's too far, right? Surely we can all agree on that?

Dead Island: Riptide is the sequel to Dead Island, the survival horror video game that has players stranded on a tropical island with a zombie outbreak. To promote the game, publishers Deep Silver are offering a special “Zombie Bait Edition” which includes the console game, artwork, a weapons pack, and a statue of a woman's bikini-clad torso with her head and arms chopped off. And so help me god, they're comparing it to the Venus de Milo. The graphic image is after the jump and probably NSFW. [UPDATE: Deep Silver issues apology. More below]
