Ian McKellen Says Which Female Tolkien Character Will Show Up In The Hobbit Extended Release

The Hobbit, as well as The Lord of the Rings, are lacking in women in a big way. You can blame the guy who wrote the first book in 1937 if you feel the need, but when adapting those stories to film in 2013, the absence is noted. One Ring Skirt Probably Won’t Turn You Invisible

From the lady who brought you the Curiosity Rover’s panoramic view of Mars on a skirt comes this fiery addition to wardrobe.

Warning: Skirt not deemed safe for Maiar (Istari or otherwise), dwarves, men, or elves over the age of 5,000. Prolonged use of the skirt by hobbits can result in: hair loss, pigment loss, ocular intumescence, sore throat, coughing, webbed digits, the loss of all friends and family due to crippling mental breaks, and, in rare cases, immortality. Talk to your local wizard to see if the One Ring is right for you.

Now, let us all rise for the traditional reading of the Ring Poem by Christopher Lee, who has it memorized in English and the Black Speech of Mordor.
