Cartoon Characters Aren’t So Funny When They’re Skeletons

But they sure are interesting to look at. Artist Michael Paulus shows us classic cartoon characters as we’ve never seen them before – as skeletons. In his series “Character Study,” Paulus looked at characters that have been around for decades with a scientific eye. He writes, “I decided to take a select few of these popular characters and render their skeletal systems as I imagine they might resemble if one truly had eye sockets half the size of its head, or fingerless-hands, or feet comprising 60% of its body mass.” The results are a little macabre but definitely cool.
