  5. Apparently Disney’s Having a Hard Time Putting Together That Boba Fett Movie

    Boba Fett?! Boba Fett?!

Just days after Lucasfilm put out an official statement saying that they'll be making a clean break from the Expanded Universe with their new set of Star Wars movies, rumors are surfacing that they're struggling to come up with a plot for their intended Boba Fett spin-off film. Hmmm, too bad Fett never shows up in any of the EU-- oh, wait.

  6. Things We Saw Today: Lady Fett

    Things We Saw Today

"I remember playing with my Boba Fett action figure as a little kid, and my mom saying 'Boba Fett could be a woman, you can’t tell with the armor and the helmet.' This was in the mid- 90s, before the prequel films revealed Boba Fett to be some lame clone kid," says Tumblr user aJRAWINGS. "I still think of Boba Fett being female to this day, and I still think that’s cooler than the 'official' explanation." Ditto. (thanks, anon tipster!)

Shop owner Jessica Danker has even made some of these hats based on buyer requests.

  16. This Is What Some Helmets Might Have Looked Like if Star Wars Never Happened

    For A More Civilized Age

No, I swear. The title makes sense. Imagine, if you will, that Star Wars never happened. Boba Fett never would have been created, and his distinctive armor would never have been designed. That would leave any designer, from a number of movie productions, wide open to use that design should it occur to them... since they would not have discarded it as too much like another iconic helmet. And that's how you might get Fett-like designs in Game of Thrones, Iron Man, 300, Skyrim, and/or Total Recall. Or, fine, just call them Boba Fett helmets redesigned by Joe Johnston and Sandy Dhuyvetter, who were on hand when the original helmet was designed, and made for the charitable As You Wish Project.

  20. From The Days When You Could Just Walk Up To Film Sets: Fan Photos of Jabba’s Sail Barge

    For A More Civilized Age

I've never really understood the Return of the Jedi despising that I hear from some Star Wars fans. Sure, there are Ewoks, which some people don't like. But there's also the Jabba's sail barge and the second best lightsaber fight in history. And while we're on the subject of the Jabba's sail barge opening, otherwise known as that time the leaders of the entire Rebel Alliance played hooky from the movement and risked their lives to rescue a criminal scumbag that they kind of liked, lets take a trip in the wayback machine to a time when there was no internet, so all you really had to do to watch a movie being made was get there.
