When last we saw a Hollywood actress photoshopped as an Avenger it was Community’s Alison Brie as Captain America. Josh from Fan Art Exhibit decided Sandra Bullock was the closest he could find (in age and personality) to complement Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man. For some reason, I’m picturing Alan Tudyk as Pepper now.

Someone did an awesome job photoshopping Community’s Alison Brie as Captain America. What they failed to realize was she would have looked equally cool with her sensitive stomach region protected. (via ScreenRant)

This is the face Natasha Romanoff makes when you don’t give you her own movie. It’s also the face she makes when she found out that she was going to be in The Avengers. It’s also the face she makes when you throw her a surprise birthday party.
Look, it’s just hard to get the drop on her, is what I’m saying. But if there’s any Marvel movie being made right now that the Widow belongs in, it’s Captain America: The Winder Soldier, and according to Deadline, that’s probably what’s going to happen.

Oh Comic-Con, the wonders you bring us! So many, in fact, that the delights of this Community gag reel almost slipped past our notice. Woe would we have been if it had, though. Community bloopers rank among our favorite DVD features of all time, so getting them before the DVD release is a treat we didn’t expect. We would’ve missed Alison Brie demonstrating her rapping abilities, some inappropriate groping, and Chevy Chase inadvertently inventing some strangely visual slang. Oh, and we get to watch Danny Pudi and Alison Brie run around in their Inspector Spacetime costumes. The question is not if, readers, but when you will enjoy this video.

Oh, everything? I see what you did there. Youtube user ziccup edited together ALL OF THE GASPS made by Annie Edison (actress Alison Brie) on NBC’s Community. Hint: it happens a lot.

Following a crazy third season full of drama off-screen and wacky delight onscreen, Community, NBC‘s most neglected (by NBC) sitcom has found itself leading in nominations for the Critics Choice Television Awards with a grand total of six. While the awards show itself is young (it just started last year), it’s about time Community got a little recognition for the unique brand of silliness it brings to the airwaves. And internetwaves, for that matter. The same internet that may or may not have created the Community video game featured at the end of the season. You’ll have to find out after the jump.

I don’t even know where to start with this. Dan Harmon‘s Community, which recently transformed Twitter in a seething cauldron of angst because it was inexplicably removed from NBC‘s mid-season lineup (while Whitney, like a cockroach, somehow remained), has a special relationship with its audience. That relationship entails going against what network sitcoms are supposed to do and consistently raising the bar. The first time the writers treated us to a secret surprise was when Abed (Danny Pudi) was part of a stealth storyline in which he delivered a baby without so much as a mention in that episode. (The mention came a few episodes later.) And now, over the course of its three seasons, three Beetlejuice mentions that actually resulted in an appearance by the B-Man himself that you probably missed. Watch the window behind Annie (Alison Brie) after she makes the third mention after a quick mention of Inspector Spacetime.
What are we thankful for? Things like this. Thank you, Dan Harmon and everyone involved with Community!
