That lovely creature you are looking at is either Esmerelda or Gladys, one of two golden orb spiders aboard the International Space Station who are being studied to see how they spin webs in zero-gravity. They were delivered by the shuttle Endeavour, which just completed its final space walk. But more importantly, we get to see a closer look at the spiders’ habitat with our favorite flute-playing astronaut Cady Coleman! That video is after the jump.
