And So It Begins

S.H.I.E.L.D. Has Started Filming, And The First Pictures From the Set Are… Well, They Exist

EW reports that S.H.I.E.L.D. has gotten underway, and with that bit of news we have our first trio of photos from the set. They’re about like that Ender’s Game set photo that was just part of a wall. Or, for that matter, the Sherlock set photo from earlier today that was just an empty set. Nothing too exciting, is what I’m saying. Check ‘em out behind the jump.

But! The show has also launched its official Facebook and Twitter pages, which will—fingers crossed—be home to new, more interesting photos before too long.

Although these photos really don’t reveal anything about the
show, it’s still exciting to see something from the set. A coworker at DISH and
I have been obsessing over this show concept for months now, so it’s exciting
that it’s finally being filmed. It will be amazing to see what superheroes are
being included, and while I wait, I am glad I can get my superhero fix with
Blockbuster @Home from DISH. With my late work shift, I like that I can so
easily put movies on my cue and get them delivered in the mail. It is also
incredible that if I forget to send back my movie, I don’t have to wait, with the
option of unlimited in store exchanges. Watching all of my superheroes come to
life in the past couple years has been amazing, so seeing S.H.I.E.L.D. finally
start to film is something I always dreamed about.

No URL? No 800 number? Disappointed. Not in other DISH-shill posts from user, either. My brow furrows.

Can I say, I actually love super-vague, candid photographs, as long as they’ve got some small detail? The S.H.I.E.L.D. truck, and the director’s chair make me squee. Completely spoiler free, just evidence of the thing being made.

But then, I lived on them when Scott Pilgrim was being made into a movie:

I love that Joss appears to be talking to a wall. And he’s probably still being hilarious.
