I am super stoked about this show! Ming-Na Wen is awesome, and I am beyond happy that Coulson’s death didn’t stick :) I am slightly surprised to see that y’all cropped Maurissa right out of the picture in the header photo :/

Look I’m not asking for cameos by the whole Marvel Universe, but Wheadon loves strong female characters and the movieverse is not going to be using many of them anytime soon. So give us Carol Danvers or She-Hulk at least!

Sitwell has been in the other movies, I know for sure he was in Thor and The Avengers, though he was a relatively minor character with only a couple lines. He was also in one of the other Marvel one-shots, The Consultant, in which he and Coulson talk in a diner. But I agree, I really hope we get more Sitwell because I LOVE him in the comics.

Well, he’s been around since Thor. Also, he’s in the short film “The Consultant” where he and Coulson try to talk like super-serious Dragnet agents, but reveal that really, they’re just a pair of dorks who are stupidly excited to be secret agents.

“They want Blonsky.”
“The Abomination!”
“They really don’t like it when he’s called that.”

But I agree–more Jasper Sitwell is better. I’m a little sad that we haven’t seen his name in the cast list yet. So much fun!

Personally, I thought the pilot for the SHIELD series was that short on the Avengers disc. It nailed the balance between action and comedy perfectly and it FINALLY had Jasper Sitwell, someone I’d been waiting for since the first film.
