The remake of the most beloved ’90s magical girl anime is almost here and my odango are tingling just thinking about it. The Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon Crystal reboot has been given a July 5th release date – and the designs of the inner senshi have also been revealed.

Sailor Moon’s original voice actress Kotono Mitsuishi will be returning to reprise her iconic role, and the rest of the cast will be filled out by senshi-newcomers. Ami will be played by Hisako Kanemoto, Mars by Rina Satou, Jupiter by Ami Koshimizu, and Venus by Sizuka Itou. Oh, and everyone is going to be able to stream the new series simultaneously, worldwide, via NicoNicoDouga.

The character re-designs are more in line with the sharpness of the original manga, while still incorporating a bit of the rounder, ’90s-anime look from the last animated series. Take a look!
