Yesterday, Adam “MCA” Yauch, founding member of the Beastie Boys, passed away at age 47 after a three-year battle with cancer. It was sad news for many, especially those of us who grew up on MTV back when it was about music and featured the Beasties’ videos, like the geek-tastic “Intergalactic.” We urge you to enjoy this classic and remember the many contributions to hip-hop and music in general that Yauch left behind. The trio were notoriously geek-friendly, and after the jump, watch all three Boys in their appearance on Futurama. You will be missed, MCA.
