Robert Downey Jr. Dons Bunny Suit for His New Philanthropic Foundation

Recommended Videos

Easter is over, but are you going to tell Robert Downey Jr. to turn down that anthemic music and get out of his bunny suit? Didn’t think so. Downey donned a bunny suit and assembled a crew to announce he’s starting a brand new foundation called Random Act Funding with his wife Susan, “dedicated to distributing kindness in the form of financial support at a local, national and global level.” He’s also at a farm, and I’ve never related to a llama more.

Last year, Omaze helped raise over 2 million dollars which went to a new hospice center for kids and Downey is asking for donations to do even more. “Each year we’re gonna band together, select a few different organizations that are really changing the world, and then just like we did with Julia’s House we’re gonna grant them funds to achieve amazing things,” explains Downey. This year’s partners includes the Motion Pictures & Television Fund, Make-A-Wish, and Anti-Recidivism Coalition.

RDJ wants you to be a founding member of his new foundation and donating ten dollars gives you and a guest the chance to go to an exclusive screening of Captain America: Civil War, have a photo shoot with RDJ (there will be props), share a pizza with him in NYC, go to his taping  of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and they provide the flight to NYC and the stay at a 4-star hotel to do all these cool things. Even if you don’t win, there are some great Honey-Bunny themed perks if you donate some more and Iron Man perks if you donate a lot more. You can enter or learn more about it over at Omaze. Check out these shirts!

It’s always great to see celebrities use their platform for charity, what a hoppin’ cool man.
