International treasure Hayley Atwell continues to be a font of delightful information.
During a recent interview with Den of Geek, the Agent Carter star confirmed Dominic Cooper will be returning to the show as Howard Stark, saying “Jarvis and Howard will be there with us again. Yeah, we can’t have a show without those guys.”
James D’Arcy’s return as Jarvis was confirmed last week by Entertainment Weekly (and implied by his presence on the series’ Season 2 San Diego Comic-Con poster) but it’s nice to know Stark will be coming along too for Peggy’s Big Move. Atwell also opened up more about production on the ten-episode season, explaining
I’ve not started work on [season 2] yet, but it’s been written. I do know that, one thing they have decided, is that it’s going to be set a year later. So it’s 1947, it’s going to be set in L.A., and I keep on thinking about L.A. Confidential, that kind of film noir, which would be great.
But will Angie be there? When asked in a recent Evening Standard interview if a romantic relationship between Peggy and Angie could happen in the second season, Atwell replied with a simply “Why not?,” which, you know, is all the confirmation I could reasonably ask for that Peggy’s actress friend will make an appearance in L.A..
In conclusion: let me not to the marriage of true minds admit impediments. Love is not love which alters when it geography, network fears, or haters finds. Pangie forever.
