Photographer/artist Eugenio Recuenco hails from Spain and has created a photo series inspired by a fellow Spaniard – one Pablo Picasso. Recuenco dressed and set models to look as accurate as is probably possible to Picasso’s unique style. How close did he come to making them a reality? Take a look…

    They barely resemble the paintings, but they are quite nice photos.

    It seems to me it’s more designed to capture the atmosphere than to recreate the images. The photos hardly resemble the paintings they’re paired with, if it’s supposed to match them as the blurb implies.

    Not sure if it was supposed to match them as his site didn’t have descriptions, I just thought these seemed as close as was humanely possible to achieve. Maybe not!
