Wibbly Wobbly Timey Wimey Stuff

Bill Weasley & Rufus Scrimgeour Together, In A Romcom, About Time Travel [VIDEO]

Actually, that’s Domhnall Gleeson and Bill Nighy, who share the honor of having breathed life into two Harry Potter characters. The movie is called About Time and the two play a father and son who just so happen to have the ability to travel through time. It’s genetic, you see? It stars Rachel McAdams as Gleeson’s love interest in a relationship that seems headed for disaster. We all know how bad time travel can get, don’t we?

And The GLAAD Award Goes to: Kevin Keller!

When the comics nominations of the 2012 GLAAD awards were announced, I found myself with a significant quandary to deal with. Not only were a mainstream superhero book written by a woman (Marjorie Liu‘s Astonishing X-Men), Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and my favorite lady superhero Batwoman in the running, so was Kevin Keller, the sell-out-popular first gay character to appear in Archie Comics.

My quandary was that I couldn’t decide who to root for.

[It] follows the adventures of the toys post-Toy Story 3, in which a fun road trip takes a very unexpected turn. “Bonnie is on a road trip to go see grandma with her mom and the toys are in the trunk,” producer Galyn Susman says. “Mom gets a flat tire and they have to spend the night at a motel and all kinds of chaos ensues.”While Terror will include Woody (Tom Hanks), Buzz (Tim Allen), Mr. Potato Head (Don Rickles) and Rex (Wallace Shawn), Jessie (Joan Cusack) will have a more prominent role in the special. “We’ve gotten to see a lot of development in Woody and in Buzz and we felt it was Jesse’s turn to really show some growth.” Susman says.

Here’s the Trailer for My Little Pony‘s Official Alternate Universe High School Setting

Yup. Hey, I’m not going to cast any judgements from here, but I will say that I’m very curious to see the retail culture in this world where everybody has to find pants and skirts with an image on them that represents their personality and/or life goals. Because that sounds like either a giant improvement or giant un-improvement on our current retail system.

Here’s a New, Beautiful, Kinda Badass Catching Fire Poster

The text reads “The sun persists in rising, so I make myself stand,” a line from the first chapter of Suzanne CollinsCatching Fire. Katniss means it quite literally, but of course it’s not the first thing she’s said that’s been appropriated by people, fictional or otherwise, for their own agendas or dreams. The poster was revealed on the Hunger Games Instagram page, and I do hope they reveal it in a higher resolution soon, because it’s a beaut.
