It Came From Outer Space

Neil deGrasse Tyson and Bill Nye in a Kickstarter for Space

Fight For Space is a Kickstarter dedicated to funding a documentary of the same name, covering the decline of America’s space program both in funding and public awareness. And aside from Neil deGrasse Tyson and Bill Nye, there’s really only one more endorsement that would get me more on board.

I thought they were going private and raising money for space directly.  Not as excited now.

This is amazing… and we desperately need more coverage of this because space travel not only brings in amazing information but also creates amazing innovation in technology that helps all of society over time …

… but why aren’t they interviewing women physicists and astronomers? How about the women astronauts and engineers? Why only men?  I’m kinda tired of space and physics being dominated by men, men, men. It’s already hard enough for a woman to survive there, but to be ignored? I feel disappointed by their choices.
