It’s always great to see a woman host Saturday Night Live, but it’s even better when that woman is a wonderful comedian. It is the Year of Melissa McCarthy after she killed it in Bridesmaids and then went ahead and won an Emmy for her work on Mike & Molly. Here’s to hoping she gets some good sketches tonight! Above, her promos with Andy Samberg, and after the jump, her promos with Kristen Wiig.
Wiig and McCarthy performed in the Groundlings together. The stage must have exploded after all that awesome.
