Where Everything Is: A Map to the Fantasy World

Dan Meth has answered decades, no, centuries of questions about where every fictional country-slash-land is located in relation to each other. Make as many intracontinental trade jokes as you want. I had a feeling that Thra was right next to Hyrule.

    and wheres kanto!!

Whoville is on a tiny dust speck that floats around in the air. And, as Brock noted, Lilliput has a sister island. I do appreciate, however, this artist’s amazing ability to draw some squiggles that look like continents and randomly paste the names of fantasy locations on top of them without any particular pattern or rationale.

The Land under Avalon is called Amber, the word capitol. On the exact opposite of the globe is the Fields of Chaos (or something of that). I highly suggest reading The Chronicles of Amber.

to the dude that asked about azaroth, its not there for a reason. the artist most likely left out fantasy worlds that have full-fledged global maps like azaroth does. if you notice, cyrodiil and all its surrounding provinces arent on there either. neither is ivalice from final fantasy XII.

on another note, why the hell is hyrule so small in relation to terabithia? terabithia shouldnt be nearly that big. maybe 1/3 that size. and make hyrule a fair bit bigger.

and i agree with that other dude, atlantis should be on there somewhere.

but how awesome would it be if someone made a galactic map of fantasy realms? that way you could include everything.

  • A Talbot

Hate to be picky, cause it’s pretty awesome somebody did this, but isn’t Neverland the second star to the right? And aren’t Wonderland and Labyrinth both Underground?

He includes Lilliput, but none of the other islands that Gulliver traveled to.
He put The Shire within spitting distance of Mordor.
Whoville was actually made in to a continent when their entire universe was on a snowflake. Not to mention the lack of Mount Crumpet. Unless this is Horton’s Whoville, which is a dust speck instead.
And perhaps the two most perplexing are Wonderland and Fantasia, the first being a dream and the second being a slew of different locations, universes, and even dimensions.

    tl;dr: This map is God-awful.
