Disney Picks Up Live-Action Prince Charming Movie, World Keeps on Turning

"Cinderella got HER own movie. Where's mine!?" -Prince Charming, probably.

INTO THE WOODS
Here’s hoping it’s an hour and a half long rendition of “Agony.”

Variety reports that Disney has apparently picked up a spec script called Prince Charming, which is based on—you guessed it—Prince Charming himself. The story isn’t going to be told from his point of view, though. It’s going to be told from Prince Charming’s brother, who “doesn’t quite live up to the family name.”

Recommended Videos

Hey Disney, we’ve got some suggestions for other ideas in the same vein of “movies nobody asked for.”

  • Cinderella’s Horse
  • Sleeping Beauty’s Third Uncle’s Second Cousin’s Brother’s Partner’s Local Baker
  • A Pumpkin, No, Really, Just a Pumpkin
  • That Ice Cube From The Beginning of Frozen

So, fine. There’s the small hope that yeah, this could be an interesting movie. But come on. Did the world need a movie based on Prince Charming? What do you think?
