Here is what you need to know about this interview with Leonard Nimoy from Hero Complex: Yes, there is an “impression” of his Star Trek co-star William Shatner, and it is in the very last couple of minutes. But there is a ton of Trekkie gold in this interview — which lasts about 15 minutes, so plan accordingly — like how Nimoy came up with the “Live long and prosper” hand gesture and which episodes of the show he likes to poke fun at. A perfect way to spend the last few minutes of a Friday before a holiday weekend!

    I really enjoy your posts and have the site on my reader but I’m getting a little disappointed at all the spoilers you write about before I have a chance to watch any of the videos that you are talking about. For example, the surprise of having Nimoy doing a Shatner impression would have possibly made my day (I’m not sure yet as I am posting before watching, that’s how sadface I am.)     To us, the impression isn’t a surprise but one of the best reasons to watch a 15 minute long video. Something most people wouldn’t do if they didn’t know the impression was coming.

    Fascinating… I thought the full 30 minutes was great and I would have watched it without the impression, which you have to admit wasn’t very well executed. I admit to having a slight nerd rage without paying much attention but I had read an article before this one which had a genuine spoiler, although its Sunday and I’m still hung over so not going back to look for it!
