This Guy Made David Bowie Look More Awesome Than Normal In Labyrinth [VIDEO]

Before watching this video, bear in mind it could take David Bowie down a level of coolness for you. Who are we kidding, Bowie is on the Mount Everest of cool already, this shouldn’t make too much difference. It’s a behind-the-scenes look at one particular aspect of his role as Jareth the Goblin King in Labyrinth – his crystal balls. Listen as Jim Henson and Bowie discuss the real man behind the magic, a juggler named Michael Moschen.

    Two Labyrinth related posts in two days? I swear you guys are going to spoil me XD. I already saw this when I was younger on the DVD special features but am super glad that Labyrinth once again makes it’s way to the Mary Sue. Since it looks like there are Labyrinth fans over at Mary Sue HQ I highly recommend checking out the Girls Next Door comic by Pika-la-Cynique and Roommates by AsheRhyder on DeviantArt. Trust me, you’ll thank me ;D

    I spent many, many hours trying to do those tricks as a youth, back when I actually looked like David Bowie (it’s true! – Don’t get your hopes up though, he’s aged much better than I have.)

    Yeah, at first I thought Cheryl was a sister (red hair, same last name, and that similar of looks?), until I did an IMDB search and realized her full name was Cheryl Gates McFadden! I had a major geek-out moment, then. *lol*
