I’d say maybe two of these are actual, wearable celebration of superheroes; the rest really stretch the definitions of “normal” and “subtle”. I also feel like three Robins and two Flashes is a lot of repetition for such a small collection of outfits. And I wish so many of the looks didn’t rely on me owning a purse or shirt with a literal logo of the character on them.
Interesting premise, but I give it maybe a C+ on execution.
Miniskirts and buttshorts galore. I see one outfit here I’d wear in public.
I might need to copy the Raven one for my next cosplay. I totally love it.
I loved the Green Arrow, Black Canary, and Raven ones — they looked like something actually remotely wearable. Wonder Woman was kind of cute, and the rest probably just aren’t my thing — a little too bright and costume-y. Cool idea though, and admittedly, I don’t get the whole “high fashion” thing much, anyway.
the wonder woman is kind of ripping off another illustration i’ve seen.
It’s October 28th already, and you don’t have a Halloween costume. But worry not, because we’ve got your back.
From Iron Man 3 to The World's End, we take a look back at the summer's triumphs and duds.
