Felicity Jones in Jyn Erso Featurette: “Everyone Should Relate to Her”

Recommended Videos

I don’t know what we did to deserve two Rogue One: A Star Wars Story featurettes in one day, but sometimes the world is good. Not only did we get a look at the impressively detailed aliens we’ll be seeing, we also got a short clip titled “Introducing Jyn Erso” that features Felicity Jones, director Gareth Edwards, and Diego Luna talking about Jyn, who we’re all kind already kind of in love with.

It begins with a long list of her infractions and Jones talking about how she and Edwards made sure to “find her humanity and her vulnerability” in the film. “Everyone should relate to her,” Jones says. Luna speaks a bit about Cassian’s initial hesitance to trust Jyn, and how that relationship transforms over the course of the movie.

From what we see in “Introducing Jyn Erso,” Jyn Erso is the kind of rogue who needs no introduction and I can’t wait to see her in action. Rogue One is out in theaters December 16th.
