Win a Polaroid Camera or Other Prizes From GE and Polaroid as Part of the “22 Days of Invention” Celebration

Because remember when photos were physical objects?

GE is in the middle of their 22 Days of Invention campaign, and we’re on board. Today, they’ve partnered with Polaroid on the anniversary of the first instant camera patent to give away a Polaroid and more than 100 other prizes. Here’s how to win!

Today, both GE and Polaroid will be posting polaroids that show inventions from different eras on their respective Twitter and Instagram feeds. When you guess what the invention is, when it was made, or answer some other fact about it, you could win. Besides the physical Polaroid camera you could win, there are also free downloads of the Polamatic app to be had.

You can follow GE on Twitter and Instagram with the username @generalelectric or Polaroid on Twitter with @polaroid. So, go forth and win things, dear readers. The photos should be trickling out throughout the day, so stay vigilant and get free swag!

Just a heads up, we’re not involved in this contest, and this isn’t a sponsored post. We just think it’s neat. So, any questions you have about it should be directed to GE and Polaroid, not us. We can’t help you. We just think it’s cool that they’re trying to encourage invention and are giving stuff away.

We think what GE is doing is so cool in fact, that we’re partnering with them for an event at this year’s SXSW. More details soon, but for now just know that it’s going to be really great. If you’ll be at SXSW, be sure to keep a close eye on us for more info, and if you’re not, don’t worry. We’ll be live streaming the event, and I’ll be there giving backstage updates.
