Walking Dead‘s Frank Darabont is reportedly in talks to direct a 2016 sequel to Snow White and the Huntsman for Universal Pictures and Roth Films. That title might need some amendments though–the second installment of the franchise is rumored to focus almost exclusively on Chris Hemsworth’s Huntsman character.

 The Wrap reports:

Meanwhile, Kristen Stewart is not expected to return for SWATH 2, which is expected to emphasize Chris Hemsworth‘s role as the titular Huntsman. Thanks to The Avengers, Hemsworth is a much bigger star since the first film was released in June 2012. Since no script has been finalized, if Stewart does return, her appearance would likely be limited to a cameo or a handful of brief scenes.

I’ll cop to never watching the first “SWATH” all the way through, so feel free to set me straight, but it seems like a bummer that Hemsworth’s Thor cred will eclipse Stewart’s role entirely. Anyone else have SWATH: THE SECOND ONE feels?
