The last time we saw anything from the set of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire was back at the beginning of October and that was only one lousy picture. Before that was September with just a few quick glimpses but today, we’ve got something of substance. A liquid kind of substance if you know what I mean. Click through to see Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Sam Claflin, and Lynn Cohen give it their all during filming in Hawaii for Catching Fire. And yes, Finnick’s special weapon makes an appearance as well. YOU GUYS, I CAN’T WAIT!!!

    Mags looks like a young girl! I had to double-check the title to see what character she was. Interesting!

    Huh. I pictured Mags as short and squat, long since aged out of her fighting days. Maybe I read the text wrong.

    Anyway, is that little blonde girl with the trident Mag’s stunt double? If so, that’s really interesting, given how different they are in stature.

    I pictured Mags the same way, so I’m guessing we read the text right. But then I never understood all the people who were sure Rue was blonde, so maybe it IS our turn to read the text wrong. Nah.

    Loving these shots!

    Oddly I pictured Mags more like old Sophie from Howls Moving Castle. I will reserve judgement though, her mannerisms might sell it.

    Anybody else picture a super green tropical beach-y landscape for this scene? All those rocks are throwing me off. But all book snobbery aside, they look good!

    EXACTLY! I was sort of picturing the witch from Howl after she’s lost her powers.

    I think the reason a lot of people pictured Rue as being blonde was because the book mentioned how much Rue reminded Katniss of Prim, whom we know to be blonde. People assumed that Rue had to equal Prim in all ways.
