The CW has cast Falk Hentschel (Reckless, Agents of SHIELD) as Carter Hall, or Hawkman, the reincarnation of Egyptian Prince Khufu. While Carter Hall has been named dropped in The Flash, he’ll be making his first appearances in the second season crossover episodes of Arrow and The Flash before appearing in the spinoff.
Legends of Tomorrow will follow time traveler Rip Hunter’s quest to stop immortal villain Vandal Savage. The show will follow an anthology format. We’ve been super pumped to see Ciara RenĂ©e play Kendra Saunders Hawkgirl in Legends of Tomorrow, and it’ll be interesting to see how the show portrays their reincarnation partnership.
This won’t be the first TV Hawkman, as Michael Shanks previously played Carter Hall in Smallville. What do you think about the casting decision?
