Artist Jeff Victor has made my geeky, cinephiliac, infograph-loving heart happy with his series depicting the evolution of famous actors, among them Sigourney Weaver, Bill Murray, and Tom Hanks. And because every fanart series needs a little Batman (it’s a universal truth, just go with it), he’s included the Caped Crusader as well.

    So cute. But I see some glaring omissions, if the theme is geek, genre and visually arresting/memorable characters. Tom Hanks’s evo needs Robbie/Pardieu from Mazes and Monsters, and Kip/Buffy from Bosom Buddies. Uma’s needs Venus from The AdvaenturesBaron Munchausen, and Sissy Hankshaw from Even Cowgirls Get the Blues (you know, the character with the really long thumbs).

    He got a lot of flack for that transition from Disney star to Snake Plissken, so he has earned it. Though he did those sillier roles like Captain Ron and Overboard, so he’s never taken himself too seriously.
