New Hobbit Pictures Prove Elijah Wood Will Never Age

Don’t fret, Elijah Wood is merely reprising his role as Frodo in a framing device for the Hobbitses. What disturbs me is that it’s been more than a decade, and the man can still play a younger version of his ten-year-old role. I’m also not sure, if, in one of these pictures, Bilbo is wearing a purple suit and a cravat. Please. Help me.

    That is amazing! Sean Astin definitely could not reprise Samwise Gamgee anymore. Saw him at NYCC, he’s not aging nearly as well as Elijah Wood.

    Sean Astin looks pretty good, actually. He just did a couple of episodes
    on ALPHAS. Let’s not forget that he is 10-years older than Elijah.

    To be fair to Astin- he’s ten years older than Elijah Wood. It’s a lot easier to look relatively the same from 20-30 than it is from 30-40.

    If you dont think he looks any older in that picture, Im afraid you need glasses. Makeup can do a lot, but clearly he looks older not younger than in LOTR
