Wibbly Wobbly Timey Wimey Stuff

Listen, Britain, just because we quit you two-hundred and thirty odd years ago doesn’t mean we can’t recognize when you produce good television. So in that spirit, here are some new on-set photos from the newest season of Doctor Who, showing the cast milling around in Victorian-wear, and we have to say they look mighty dapper. As we told you the other day, Avengers alum Diana Rigg will be joining the cast of Doctor Who along with her daughter for a guest stint in an episode written by Mark Gatiss, and now you can see for yourselves.

We’re up for anything written by Mark Gatiss, to be honest, so the fact that he penned this episode is doing its job in distracting us from the crushing sadness of preemptively missing the Ponds.

It also helps that soon-to-make-her-debut new companion Jenna Louise Coleman looks pretty cute in her costume.

And I don’t know who this guy’s playing, but I approve.

Matt Smith might not, though…

He looks rather befuddled.
