David Tennant On Doctor Who’s 50th Anniversary: “I’ve Still Got My Costume!”

On a recent appearance on Attack of The Show, in true famous actor fashion, David Tennant could neither confirm, not deny, his appearance on the Doctor Who’50th anniversary special due to air in 2013. But he did pique our interest with some important information regarding his famous pinstripe suit and address the London Olympics controversy. Hit the jump to watch the video!

Tennant thankfully addressed the biggest Olympic controversy to date: forgetting to let the 10th Doctor carry the torch, a fixed point in time as per the episode “Fear Her”:  ”I was waiting for the phone call, there was an online petition apparently, that Olympic organizing committee chose to ignore it would seem.” There are surely dire consequences unraveling from such a blatant disrespect of time and space, but for now let’s just take solace in Tennant’s adorable personality.

Bless that beautiful gangly man, but that laugh track was abominable. Is it like that for every show, or did they just get three very obnoxious people on set that day?

Not a laugh track, just the crew on set.

    It’s very simple.

One day the 11th Doctor realized that “Oh wait!  I was on the Telly in front of the whole world back in 2012.  And if Donna Noble watches the Olympics, as she’s sure to do being something of a vidiot… oh heck!”

So he went back, with Amy, and hijacked the torch BEFORE it had a chance to be dropped (Good As Gold – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=88e5vGPTVgg), thus altering the Fixed Point in a safe way without his past incarnation being any the wiser, as seen in

So yes… due to wibbly wobbly timey wimey, the 10th Doctor never actually lit the torch.

    So there.

    Me too!

According to Tumblr, the Doctor WAS there, thus negating epic universal collapse that altering a fixed point might incur, if that is what that is. We did, after all, hear the Tardis during the Bohemian Rhapsody. It’d be just like the Doctor not to focus all the attention on him during such a big moment for London, n’est pas?

Why is no video ever available in my country? Harumph. It’s Canada for god sake, not Outer Buttholia!

Love you David. You will always be my Doctor. Really hope you come back for a reunion episode.
