Dark Knight Rises Banner Posters & Catwoman, Catwoman, Catwoman!

Susana and I like Batman a lot, so we have no problem bookending today with another Dark Knight Rises post. Some new banner posters of the main characters have been released as well as a bunch of new shots of Catwoman. Without further ado… 

We found the banner posters on Collider.

Here’s a nice close-up of her face also via Collider, who also has a few more new stills.

Here’s her two unique posters for the film from First Showing. Batman and Bane have similar ones. Susana is in love with the one above I think. She started talking about french revolution paintings and all I heard was “Batman, Batman, Batman…”

And finally, her cover of Empire Magazine.

    Is anyone else amused by how some of the promo photos have to add a second mask so that she has both “cat-ears” (actually the low-light goggles) and a “mask”?

    Also, I have begun to think that someone on the design committee is not only (understandably) a fan of the 60s Catwoman suit but also of the 1963 Judex movie. (See Amazon link for movie poster as evidence.)

    Which makes sense in a weirdly appropriate way, since the original French Judex silent movie serials were either one of the direct inspirations for Batman or might as well have been. HISTORIO-CULTURAL SYNERGY HAS BEEN OCCURRED!!!
