Everyone knows us Canadians tend to be a little wacky, what with our metric system, and Tim Hortons, and health care. But wacky isn’t always a bad thing – especially not when it comes to cosplay! Fan Expo is always great for crazy costumes, but this year there was an influx of unusual outfits; for every Daenerys, there was a Robb Stark and a Melisandre walking the floor. Sam (that’s me!) was there to check out all the cosplay action this weekend, and here are my fave uncommon cosplay finds.

And, hey, if you’re ever at a con and see some particular cosplay goodness, drop us a line and a pic at [email protected]. We need you, fabulous readers, to be all the places we can’t be. Yet.
