The ever-Fandom-friendly Clark Gregg tweeted this last night, just so we could all have a good exclamation of surprise about it. It seems the rumors of S.H.I.E.L.D. starting to shoot in January were true, and if so we might see it as early as this fall.

    Just makes me wonder where in the timeline this show takes place? Does it occur after the Avengers Movie, which means Coulson is still alive, or does it take place before the Avengers which means he still could be dead?

    I’m still hoping for news on storyline plans. Looking at the cast, I’m betting it will be case-a-week, but will they mostly be fighting Hydra and similar, or can we expect to see some new super powered baddies roaming the MCU? Either way, I’m stoked!
