Doctor Who’s Noel Clarke & The Vampire Diaries’ Ian Somerhalder Star In The Trailer For The Anomaly

Mickey!!!! (Sorry, had to.) Noel Clarke and Ian Somerhalder star in this sci-fi film which is almost certainly not about Neo from The Matrix. The description on the video says, “A former soldier is taken captive and awakens in the back of a van to learn he only has a few moments to figure out how he got there. It’s a unique concept set in the near future that explores the idea of mind control.

[Possible NSFW Warning: bare buttocks.]

These Earrings Are Actually Tiny Working Video Screens

Yes, we live in the future, and yes, these earrings are tiny video screens and storage devices that can store and play four to eight hours of video. They can even play sounds, although “constant sound” is not recommended. They’re the subject of an ongoing Indiegogo project by MJ Mclaren that still has a long way to go, so there’s no guarantee they’ll be available at retail. Still, we get closer to Blade Runner-style style every day.

The U.S. Armed Forces Are Going To Use Video Games To Teach Sailors Sexual Assault Prevention

The United States are about to start utilizing a technology already being used by the Australian government to train and educate soldiers. While the interactive video game may be used for a wide variety of training, the Navy is thinking of using it to teach sailors about preventing sexual assault. I wonder if this gives gamers in the military an unfair advantage in passing their training?
