Ida Pollock was her name, though you may have known her by one of her many pseudonyms – Joan M. Allen, Susan Barrie, Jane Beaufort, Rose Burghley, or Marguerite Bell. Whatever name you knew her by, she was the oldest romance novelist and she passed away last week at the impressive age of 105. And boy, did she lead an interesting life.

Couple Announces Engagement and Wedding With Amazing Parody Movie and TV Posters

Joshua Watson and his then-fiancée Rachel Van Der Merwe joined forces with photographer Jordan Nakamura to re-create posters of some of the couple’s favorite movies and TV shows to celebrate the pair’s nuptials. The results, as you can see, are really well done, to the point that some of the altered posters even trick Google image search.

Any future husband of mine has to be willing to do this, or the wedding’s off.

Joe teamed with Paul Bieker of Paul Michael Design to come up with the perfect ring for his lady. Facebook Introduces Same-Sex Marriage Icons

Just under a year and a half since announcing the option to proclaim a same-sex relationship on Facebook, the social network has now introduced new icons for those same-sex couples who get married! The new icons — two brides and two grooms (obviously) — will be featured on the Facebook Timeline when a user changes their status to “Married” and specifies that they are now in a same-sex marriage. Just in time for Facebook co-founder Chris Hughes to announce his own marriage to Sean Eldridge! Congratulations, gentlemen! Next: waiting to see an icon pop up on Anderson Cooper‘s Facebook page. We’ll go ahead and hold our collective breaths for that.

But you guys, this is so great! It’s like making up for Pride Month being only 30 days long! Better than a bonus second!
