Eliza Dushku Kicks Butt In Machinima’s New Sci-Fi Short, The Gable 5

From director Kevin Tancharoen, of Mortal Kombat: Legacy fame (not to mention brother of SHIELD’s Maurissa Tancharoen) comes another Machinima original. It’s definitely got a sci-fi bent, I got a slight Portal vibe, but Tancharoen calls it, “a sci-fi, futuristic version of The Truman Show.” Besides Eliza Dushku doing what she does best, it also features a few other familiar faces.

For the Good of All of Us, Build a Companion Cube for Your Cat

I’m a cat person and even I know that a beloved cat would be a mere whim away from murdering an entire household with nerve gas, had they the power. At least, that’s what she’s been saying ever since we let that small, furry visiting researcher install a new personality core.

Here’s GLaDOS, in That Video Game Where GLaDOS is a Poker Dealer for Fictional Celebrities

If you were unaware of the franchise, Telltale games makes Poker Night at the Inventory, and now a series where the player is set against a cast of four fictional characters for some way more interesting computer poker than usual. The characters are usually from all sorts of media, games, movies, and comics, complete with appropriate voice acting where possible. The first games tarred Tycho, Max, the Heavy, and Strong Bad. Now? Brock Sampson, Claptrap, Ash, and Sam. With everybody’s favorite homicidal robot queen as dealer. And chief officer of sass.

New Pacific Rim Photo Implies Very Large Foot

This new production photo from Guilllermo del Toro‘s Pacific Rim reminds me of a quote from Isaac Newton.

I was like a boy playing on the sea-shore, and diverting myself now and then finding a smoother pebble or a prettier shell than ordinary, whilst the giant, alien monster seeking to destroy all humanity marched landwards undiscovered before me.

Or anyway, it went something like that.
