Now, she goes to an American high school in Brainerd, Minnesota as an exchange student where she still plays tennis — on the boys’ team. New policies were implemented this year to make the process go smoother and well, it’s no surprise it didn’t. Tickets for the pop-culture convention sold out in under an hour (a new record) and lots of people were left with nothing thanks to technical difficulties.

We’re so excited British actor Benedict Cumberbatch is getting so much attention these days. He deserves it. We loved him in the BBC’s Sherlock and now he’s going to be in not one, but TWO genre films we were already dying to see; Star Trek 2 and The Hobbit. The latter has been filming for quite a while, and although Cumberbatch is playing two roles in the two-part Tolkien epic, he just recently began shooting. George Lucas’ latest film Red Tails hit theaters this past weekend. The action drama, about a group of African American U.S. service members from World War II known as the Tuskegee Airmen, landed at a very respectable number two at the box office. We know this project had been Lucas’ baby for some time but thanks to a recently uncovered scan of a 1990 issue of Lucasfilm Fan Club magazine, we now know this film arrived exactly twenty years later than planned.
