NBC Totally Brittas Its Schedule, Moving Community to Fridays With Whitney

Well, this is a strange development. NBC has announced its schedule for the 2012-2013 season, and as we learned last week, Community has been renewed (along with Parks and Recreation and 30 Rock, which will likely end its run in 2013), albeit with a shorter season. (Which is not necessarily a bad thing.) What was also renewed, and what also has people seriously scratching their heads, was the widely reviled Whitney. But what’s even curiouser is that NBC has announced that they’ll not only be moving Community to Fridays, but pairing it with Whitney.

I think it’s fair to say that NBC might be trying to slowly murder Community, don’t you think?

Walk With Me: The Cast of The West Wing Reunites For Wonderful PSA About Walking [Video]

Well, this is one of the best things on the internet today. That is, if you’re a certifiable Wingnut, or a devoted fan of The West Wing. Most of the cast reunited — Allison Janney, Josh Malina, Dulé Hill, Melissa Fitzgerald, William Duffy, and the Prez himself, Martin Sheen — for this quick little PSA-slash-contest promoting the benefits of this newfangled exercise called “walking.” If you’ve ever seen an episode of The West Wing, you’ll know they do a lot of that, often while talking and passing along folders with mysterious, classified information in them.

All it was missing was Josh (Bradley Whitford) and Donna (Janel Moloney) banter. Here! I wrote some after jump.

Jersey Shores’ The Situation To Make Superhero Comics About Himself For Wizard World

So, this is happening. Wizard World Inc. has joined with Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino of MTV’s The Jersey Shore fame to create a series of superhero comics with his family. The superhero in question will be based on the Situation. You don’t want to read on, but you’re compelled to, even if it’s only to see how far into the story I get before I have a complete meltdown.

I’ll bet you never thought Space Jam could be this epic, could you? That Michael Jordan was this heroic? I mean, he was back in the 1990s. And this is the trailer mashup that perfectly embodies that sentiment. I mean, Michael Jordan could fly, you guys. R. Kelly wrote a song about Jordan’s god-like, aerodynamic abilities for this very movie that was so popular that he couldn’t even bring himself to pee on it.
