Season three of Sherlock hasn’t even started filming and already Benedict Cumberbatch is talking about Season four. Slow down, Ben! Give us some time to process.
What am I saying? Even if the actors are signed, they’re both making movies and Steven Moffat has to make the 50th and then a new season of Doctor Who. This isn’t going to happen for years.

I could write a dissertation on how the movie Willow formed a great deal of my psyche growing up. Be it the furious and fierce Sorsha or the shirtless and flowing-haired Madmartigan, it left its mark on me. ANYWAY. Val Kilmer tweeted this photo of himself and the fantastic Warwick Davis on set of Life’s Too Short, Davis’ show with Ricky Gervais. Presumably they’ll be making fun of, and in turn promoting, the release of the Willow anniversary blu-ray. I can’t wait.

Joatmonjb has done us a great favor today. The Youtube user has taken all of the footage revealed in The Hobbit‘s TV spots and trailers, and reordered it in as close to the order those clips will appear in the movie as we can tell. Sure, it make for a seven minute film that’s mostly dwarves sitting around and eating Bilbo’s food, but just think of it as a Thanksgiving tie in.

Look, I’m just saying. I’ve bought my mother kitchen appliances for Christmas, and when purchasing kitchen supplies for the woman who came home from work and made you a healthy delicious dinner as a matter of course for a period that is still currently the majority of your natural life… you definitely have to make sure that gift reads as “here is something specific that I know you will appreciate” and not “hey, kitchen things, cause… you’re a mom, right? That’s what moms like?”
That said, if you’re wearing this Alice in Wonderland apron, offered by Lover Dovers Clothing on Etsy, while cooking, I will request that your dish come with EAT ME and DRINK ME labels.

The Bezos family have always been a private family, given their wealth. Jeff Bezos–the Seattle-based founder of multi-billion dollar corporation Amazon–has certainly changed the way most people think about retail, but unlike other billionaire couple Bill and Melinda Gates, the Bezos haven’t done quite as much headline-grabbing when it comes to their philanthropic efforts–granted, it’s difficult to keep up with the Gateses; they’re like the philanthropic Joneses that way. Until recently, that is, when Bezos and his wife Mackenzie donated $2.5 Million to Washington campaign for marriage equality.

AMC likes Robert Kirkman! Right now, they like him! It has been announced that the cable network will develop Kirkman’s newest title, Thief of Thieves, as a new series. While this is obviously great news, it’s hardly a surprise that AMC would be eager to work with Kirkman on another project. Consider the monster ratings they’ve gotten from The Walking Dead. And now, they’re hoping that heists will start having a moment, similar to zombies, the ’60s, perhaps not dreary murders …

And it was on that fateful spring day that George Takei did give the world a great gift. The gift of dance.
