New Trailer for Epic Is Epi—No, No, I Won’t Say It. [VIDEO]

The first trailer for Epic, about a teenage girl who gets shrunk down to insect-size and must help her local forest creatures save their home from an evil… er… decay monster…? Can’t quite parse that one out. Anyway, the first trailer didn’t include much of its protagonist, voiced by Amanda Seyfried. This trailer, on the other hand, gives us a better look at her, and it has a pretty nice Honey, I Shrunk the Kids throwback at the end.

Look, We’re Just Not Going to Make a Joke About Daniel Radcliffe Being “Horny” in This Photo

We’re just not. Here’s your first picture of Daniel Radcliffe in Horns, a horror flick in which he plays an already pretty evil young man who wakes up to find that he has mind control powers… and horns sprouting from his head. Looks like Radcliffe’s got his wish: I don’t see much Hellboy in these prosthetics.

Myspace & Justin Timberlake Try To Become Relevant Again With Social Network Relaunch

Have you thought about Myspace lately? If I were a betting kind of gal, I’d say probably just as much as you’ve though Justin Timberlake’s music career. Did you know, the musician/actor who starred in a film based on the creation of Facebook is trying to make Myspace popular again? This should be fun to watch.

Monday Cute? The Fate of Martian Cats

Hypothesis: Not all cute videos have cats in them, but all cat videos are cute. Especially if they dependo on a big fat obvious pun.

Witzelsucht: The Disease That Causes People to Speak in Puns

An upsetting mental disorder has been discovered, and it concerns your brain and the delivery of puns. It’s called witzelsucht, and it causes people to make jokes, puns, and engage in what could be considered inappropriate conversation and/or behavior — and probably annoy people. Which is sad, because being a person who voluntarily makes bad puns all day is one thing. Not being able to control your bad puns is another. Insert your own pun joke here, because I’m far too concerned about many people I know who might be dealing with this already.

Another Thing Vibrators Can Do: Fix Your Teeth

How many of you geeks out there went through the adolescent torture of braces? Yeah, that’s what I thought. I had mine for five years, from the end of elementary school to mid-high school. This new device, approved by the FDA for use in the making of terrible, wonderful jokes… and also for use by orthodontic patients everywhere would probably not have helped much in my specific instance. I have my formerly-impacted canine teeth to thank for that, including the one that, after all that hullabaloo, still came in backwards.

But yes. This is a mouth vibrator that will honest to god make your teeth straighter faster. This is me showing remarkable restraint.

Can A Woman Lead Two Lives? Awesome Two-Face Cosplay

Weren’t we just talking about this? …no matter, Meagan Marie is a community manager at Crystal Dynamics, the folks who are throwing the upcoming Tomb Raider reboot together, and she makes a pretty awesome Two-Face (Harley Dent, maybe? or is that first name taken?). Those teeth? Fake nails.

Oh man I want a half and half pinstriped pantsuit now…

Much thanks to Redditor veritablequandary for the concept, and sdyawg for the corrected version. (I always spell rhythm wrong, too.)

Chell Bakes a Cake [Video]

There’s not a lot to go on when you’re making a Portal fan movie about Chell. She hasn’t a single spoken line, no surname, no origin story beyond the vaguest of general details, and only one facial expression. In fact, simply applying any extra details at all can make her seem out of character. Outside Aperture, however, does a great job not only of fleshing Chell out without giving us any more details on her, but also at presenting her struggling against shellshock of her experiences without diminishing her personal strength.

And there are amusing day-to-day thinking with portals jokes. A+

Jason Segel and Fozzie

I’ve done Fozzie, I’ve done Dr. Teeth, and I’ve done Beaker so far. It’s been amazing. That is what knocks your socks off. This is going to sound different than how I mean it, but my hand is inside Fozzie… That’s amazing! I never thought that would happen!

But Segel wasn’t just there (talking to /Film) to try not to make innuendo, he also knows exactly what makes the Muppets special.
