It didn’t really surprise anyone to find out HBO’s Game of Thrones was the most pirated show of 2012. After all, HBO is a paid subscription service and many people don’t like their limited expensive options in a world immediate entertainment. But I suppose it doesn’t help the cause when one of the people working the show, a director to be more specific, publicly says he doesn’t mind when people pirate his show. And it just so happens that The Copyright Alert System is about to start sending us all notices to stop the illegal downloads. Great timing, dude.

…but no sexposition. They kept all of that in the show itself.
Hit the jump for three more season two deleted scenes featuring Loras and Margaery Tyrell, Varys and Petyr Baelish, and the fate of poor Irri.

It’s a good thing plush toys aren’t just for kids, then. The new line of Game of Thrones merch from Factory Entertainment, Inc. includes plush direwolves, dragon eggs, and dragons (not pictured) in addition to shield-shaped throw pillows and unspecified prop replicas and sculptural miniatures.
The stuffed direwolves just look like normal wolf plushies to me, though I’m not sure what else they’d look like. The Ghost one is pretty cool, though. He has red eyes!

If you ever thought about joining The Night’s Watch, now’s your chance. HBO has set up a new website where fans can join an “oath chorus” led by Jon Snow himself, Kit Harington, for a large-scale vocal recording of Game of Thrones fans.

Hillary Clinton has officially stepped down as America’s Secretary of State and while former Sen. John Kerry has already been tapped as her replacement, a new contendor has entered the ring. Or should I say, game. See, someone has decided Lady Catelyn Stark (née Tully), Lady of Winterfell, would make a much better candidate. Find out why after the jump.

Mick Minogue is a freelance artist who, on occasion, dabbles in plush toys. While his plush croissant is delightful, it’s his Game of Thrones creations we’ve fallen for. Specifically because, if you watch the HBO series, you’ve likely spoken out loud, “If you keep making that face, Jon Snow, it’s going to get stuck that way” at one point or another. No? Just me?Either way, Minogue did an awesome job with Jon, his direwolf Snow, and the prop that is a severed white walker hand.

The first wave of Funko’s Game of Thrones Pop! vinyl figures gave us Daenerys and Drogo, Ned Stark, and more. I have what I like to think is a healthy obsession with Funko Pop! and I was hoping their toys based on the HBO series would be successful so I could own even more. Thankfully, they were and six more characters have been transformed into adorable wide-eyed people. They’re due around May but you can pre-order them at Entertainment Earth. Did your favorite character make the cut this time?

Don’t let the skyscrapers and cityscapes fool you—this is, in fact, a new teaser for season three of Game of Thrones, premiering on March 31st. It doesn’t have any footage from the actual show, but it does have the three-eyed crow raven and The National’s version of The Rains of Castamere. I have chills.
