Forget Those Other Let It Go Mashups and Watch the Song Sync Perfectly With the Lich King

Shh, shh, I don’t want to hear about how this second or that was cut out of the video or song, I just want to believe that Elsa’s song matches up perfectly with the cinematic trailer to my favorite World of Warcraft expansion, in which the Lich King, an amalgamate identity ruled now by the form of Arthas the Butcher, former prince of Menethil, raises the the unwilling corpse of a mad dragon’s consort to join his shambling armies before he rides out to extinguish all life on Azeroth.

I want to believe.

Caitlin Oliver Just Broke the World Record High Score for the Arcade Game Splatterhouse

So far as I can tell from her interview, Caitlin Oliver isn’t deaf, dumb or blind, but she sure plays a mean Splatterhouse.

Okay, that’s the one joke about rock opera I’ve never seen that I get for the year, now I’ll actually talk about the record.

Joss Whedon Practically Parachuted In to Help Thor Writers, Like a Screenwriting Ninja

Joss Whedon is a busy guy, and he’s been one ever since his duties as writer and director of The Avengers meant that he’d need to take a pass on the script for Captain America: The First Avenger. With him accepting Avengers: Age of Ultron as well, it means he’s the guy to call to make sure your movie is contributing to the whole of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and apparently he’s also some kind of commando style fixer for scenes that aren’t working. Like the Wolf in Pulp Fiction, but for superhero movies.

Agents of SHIELD Gets a Shiny New Poster

Unless I’m mistaken, this is the first Agents of SHIELD poster we’ve gotten that actually has, y’know, characters in it. And they’re looking pretty cunning, doncha think? Melinda May looks like she can kill you with her brain.

OK, OK, I’m done with the Firefly references.

No power in the ‘verse can stop me.

Shiny: Fox Teases a Firefly MMO at SDCC [VIDEO]

It’s not the new Firefly we might’ve hoped for, but Firefly Online, the game teased in the video above, is better than nothing, right? Starting next summer it’ll be made available on mobile devices, and according to our buds at Geekosystem (hi, buds at Geekosystem) if it’s popular enough developer Spark Plug Games might put out a PC version.
