North Carolina Retailer Will Boycott Action Comics Because Superman Would Never Say “GD”

Jeff Lamb, owner of the Asheboro, North Carolina comics retailer The Comic Conspiracy, is offended. Offended by what Superman said in Action Comics #1, because it has offended his delicate religious sensibilities. What was so blasphemous and awful that now has Lamb calling for a boycott of Action Comics by his fellow Christians? “GD.” Not “God,” not even “G-d,” but “GD.” An utterance that place after the Man of Steel was struck by projectile heavy artillery in an explosion. So, next time, Grant Morrison, a hearty “Gee whillickers” will suffice, if you please.

In Case You Were Worried: Nolan’s Catwoman Will Have Ears

“Catwoman’s goggles, when pulled back like a headband, will take the form of cat’s ears much like the image of Catwoman we all know and loved!”

There’s been a lot of fan-people worry over the tiny, none-too thorough looks we’ve gotten at Anne Hathaway‘s Catwoman costume for Christopher Nolan‘s final Bat-film The Dark Knight Rises, mostly stemming, as far as we can tell, from how much it looks like a catsuit and not a Cat-suit. Well, this morning a number of fan sites are spreading the above rumor around.

Sounds pretty likely to us, frankly.

The Dark Knight Rises Teaser May Run With Deathly Hallows

Here’s something to get you excited for the final installment of the Harry Potter films if you might otherwise not be: According to Superhero Hype’s anonymous source, the first teaser trailer and poster for The Dark Knight Rises will be released to run with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2.

We’re hearing that the teaser trailer is a minute and 33 seconds long and will play in 3D  theaters, 2D theaters and IMAX 3D screens.
