Matt Smith and David Tennant, Chatting Without Spoilers on the Set of Doctor Who

The BBC promised, and have delivered: in thanks for the spoiler-filled silence of two hundred and ten fans who were accidentally shipped their Series 7 DVDs, containing this weekend’s season finale, quite a bit early, we get to see this brief video of David Tennant and Matt Smith chatting about being the Doctor and what it’s like to be on the set of the 50th Anniversary special.

Bill Weasley & Rufus Scrimgeour Together, In A Romcom, About Time Travel [VIDEO]

Actually, that’s Domhnall Gleeson and Bill Nighy, who share the honor of having breathed life into two Harry Potter characters. The movie is called About Time and the two play a father and son who just so happen to have the ability to travel through time. It’s genetic, you see? It stars Rachel McAdams as Gleeson’s love interest in a relationship that seems headed for disaster. We all know how bad time travel can get, don’t we?

“Doctor Who” Stars In a Cooking Commercial, Calls Himself a Thyme Lord [VIDEO]

That is some scarily accurate cosplay, courtesy of “Matt Smith lookalike Matt Elliot.” I was almost too busy staring at his Smith-ian eyebrows to fully register the pun “Adventures in Time and Spice.”

But not “Thyme Lord.” Oh no. That pun registered. Tell me, Thyme Lord, does the microwave go ding when there’s stuff?

Fan Does the Impossible: Maps the TARDIS

Alibi_factory on LiveJournal has made a series of maps, under the guise of a TARDIS instructional pamphlet, of the TARDIS that belongs to that particular Time Lord who goes by the mysterious moniker of the Doctor. We’re fully willing to take these as canon, expecially since if there’s any inaccuracies between these maps and the actual show, well, that’s the TARDIS all over, isn’t it? Besides, this TARDIS has a cafe that serves crystallized aallaf tree sap. That stuff is so hard to find.

“It’s Lovely to be Around Billie Again:” David Tennant On Returning for Doctor Who

It is strange being back in the same suit, but it also feels very familiar and comfortable. There’s nothing quite like Doctor Who. It has a wonderful excitement about it. I always had happy times there… It’s lovely to be around Billie again, even though I see her all the time anyway.David Tennant, on returning to his pinstriped suit and sneakers to portray the 10th Doctor (well, or some variation of) for Doctor Who’s 50th anniversary special.

Drink up this semi-update from the Doctor Who set, because this is one production that isn’t likely to be sharing many secrets.
